EVOLVE MIS Sync (EVOLVELink)

EVOLVELink automates the process of updating student, class and staff details stored on EVOLVE directly from data held in an establishments MIS system. Changes made in the MIS will be automatically replicated to EVOLVE so that visit and activity registers always contain up-to-date information. Additionally, the EVOLVELink for MIS enables you to include more student information (e.g. medical details, funding and SEN status etc.) so that visit/activity registers can provide single-point access to all of the information that staff require about their students.

• Reduce the workload of SIMS administrators by negating the need to regularly run and export reports
• Reduce the workload of EVOLVE administrators by negating the need to regularly upload updated student and staff data files
• Ensure that class/group lists on EVOLVE are always up-to-date to and reflect newcomers and leavers
• Automatically generate EVOLVE accounts for new staff

• Include additional information in visit/activity registers such as emergency contact numbers, medical details etc.
• Enhance EVOLVE reporting by adding the ability to generate reports to analyse participation against other factors e.g. Pupil Premium, FSM, SEN status etc.
• Seek and record consent using EVOLVE’s secure parent portal
• Take advantage of EVOLVE’s communication tools to send text messages and emails to parents/carers based on involvement in visits/activities, tutor groups, year groups etc.

* Direct syncronization only available with SIMS and iSAMS MIS providers. Other MIS systems will use CSV or XML for transport of data.
